I was a freshman at Texas A&M coordinating weddings as an intern in College Station. I found Urban Rubbish Floristry while working a wedding and quickly realized flowers were where I was meant to be. Quite simply, flowers and my flower family found me and I haven’t looked back since.

At Root and Wilde, We Live By...
Ask anyone and they’ll tell you I come from a VERY close-knit family. From the outside looking in, we can look somewhat crazy (a good kind of crazy!), but you won't find anyone who doesn’t have a good time when they’re with us. My family keeps me going - they’re my favorite people.
My Family
So cliche - I know - but I absolutely love to travel. I’m not a huge beach gal, I hate the sand and water kinda scares me, but you can find me hiking in Montana every summer. I feel at home when I’m in the mountains, there is just something about them. Some bucket list destinations: Banff, Switzerland, and Greece.
Travel
Crazy right? Anyone who knows me will tell you that I’m slightly OCD and a clean freak - except when it comes to my car, it totally looks like a bomb exploded in there. I love coming home from a day at the shop to a clean house with lots of candles burning - pure bliss if you ask me.
Cleaning
When it's not 1000+ degrees out, you can find me working in the yard and my raised bed. I absolutely love growing vegetables in the summer months and the smell of fresh cut grass is strangely a top smell for me.
Gardening
My love language. I absolutely love being in the kitchen and cooking for those I love. I enjoy making things up on the fly and adding my own twist to a recipe. I’m gearing up the courage of attempting a beef wellington soon…we shall see how that plays out.
